1943 –­ 2022

On the night of April 23, 2022, Sherry June Meibos our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Good friend, and Daughter of God passed absent peacefully surrounded by family and buddies. Sherry was 78 decades outdated.

Sherry was born on October 4, 1943, to Harold and Afton Carpenter Bluemel in Environmentally friendly River, Wyoming. She was the oldest of four kids.

Sherry married her sweetheart Ray Meibos on August 6, 1965 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.

Sherry graduated from Ben Lomond Significant University and attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Training from Utah State College. Her lifelong dream was to come to be a trainer. She was a devoted English trainer at Highland and Sunset Junior Higher universities for 44 decades. Her favored topics to instruct ended up grammar and Shakespeare. A highlight of the college year was her annual Shakespeare manufacturing.

Sherry was a trustworthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held quite a few callings all over her lifetime, teaching Gospel Doctrine was her beloved.

Sherry has usually been the biggest fan of her family members by attending many ball game titles, rodeos, and dance recitals. She was a continuous caregiver to all and a loyal pal to lots of. Some of her most loved situations were being keeping big spouse and children gatherings, procuring, bowling, softball, golf, ball trips with softball pals, her once-a-year excursion to the Shakespeare Competition, and most of all currently being a mother and grandma. Roast, mashed potatoes, and “Grandma Cake” have been a large section of family members gatherings.

Sherry is survived by Ray, her eternal companion of 56 yrs, their two kids, Shelby (Brandon) Tuckett, and Tyler Meibos (Sweet Johnson), and their granddaughter Averee Meibos who they raised six grandchildren a single great-grandson and lots of nieces and nephews. Siblings Ronnie (Margo) Bluemel, Terry (Nancy) Bluemel, and Cindy (David) Howard. Sherry is preceded in demise by her mom and dad.

The household will satisfy with buddies on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden.

Funeral expert services will be Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the West Warren Ward Chapel, 856 N. 5900 West, with a viewing prior from 9:30 to 10:40. Interment will be at the West Warren Cemetery.
